Just a month ago, there has been reports that the upcoming game console from Microsoft, dubbed by many as the Xbox 720, may be utilizing a technology that could be used to blocked used games for the console. This comes from the fact that studio developers are not making any profit compared to retailers who are making lucrative earnings in the video game market.

Even if such significant move from Microsoft might upset a ton of gamers, which might integrate the modern technology to be constructed within the hardware and which could possibly pay method to future game consoles that will certainly utilize the modern technology, there is nothing much gamers could possibly do however to accept the modern technology unless of course there is a technical or physical issue by having the console which can be serviced under guarantee.

The approach for such technology caused a divide among game developers. One developer says that it is better from preventing gamers from playing any used games. He understands the approach of Microsoft and why the company would want to take the approach but he believes there is another way of approaching the issue at hand.

The developer took place stating that as long as the video games being circulated are physical in good condition and they are circulated as physical materials, participants have the right to buy and offer them. Paying as much as almost one hundred bucks a game is a ton particularly if the gamer winds up by having a dud and needs to live with the game.

If the gamer dislikes the game, he has the option to avoid keeping it and would be better off selling it instead. He believes that gamers should have the benefit of deciding which games are best suited for them rather than pushing them to accept a title that is not to their liking. It still remains to be seen as to what the new Xbox will offer.
